  1. Who?

  2. What?

  3. When?

  4. Where?

  5. How?

  6. Why?

What are these questions for?

My homework.

To evaluate Zink and Zink, The Critical Approach. Let's get started.

First, these are journalistic questions. They help to get the facts about something.

Second, wait, there's no second. Let me just apply them to Ms. Zink's writing.

  1. Who? Julie Zink, PhD, University of Southern Maine.

  2. What? Her chapter on the critical approach of analyzing power, "to uncover the reasons for the imbalanced power and bring those causes to the attention of the oppressed so that they can push for power equalization in their organization."

  3. When? Published in unknown year. Likely between 1999 and 2021.

  4. Where? College professor in Maine, U.S. for almost 20 years.

  5. How? Ideas likely came from extended experience in academia.

  6. Why? Zink may feel oppressed and want to help others who feel like her.

So, that's it. Not too hard. Journalistic questions. Now you know 'em and you've seen an example.
