A picture is worth a thousand words. What does this one say?
Three tools to analyze an image:
1. modality ("the input")
A plain photograph which includes the cat, rain droplets, the bar across the middle, the downward perspective, and symmetry with ears and bar.
2. verisimilitude ("its realness")
Very real, focused, and emotional.
3. claim about the world ("the argument")
There is a feeling that this cat is left out, dejected, or forlorn, yet there is some hope, because he continues to look through the glass, expecting some reprieve from his situation on the outside.
